Richard Schilling is Professor of Cardiology at Queen Mary University of London and Consultant Cardiologist at St Bartholomew's Hospital, London, UK. He qualified from St Thomas’ Hospital, London in 1989 and was appointed at St Bartholomew’s and the Royal London NHS Trust in 2001. Performing over 200 AF ablations each year, he uses the latest mapping techniques. An Immediate Past-President of the British Heart Rhythm Society, Prof Schilling is widely published around outcome improvements and safety of catheter ablation. His research interests include elucidating the mechanism of complex cardiac arrhythmia and the development of percutaneous treatments for them. He serves as Non-Executive Chairman of Rhythm AI and is a Founder and Commercial Director of One Welbeck Heart Health.

KR Julian Chun is Head of Cardiology at Med Klinik III, Markus Krankenhaus Frankfurt am Main, Germany, a position he had held since 2016. He also serves as academic lecturer at the University of Lübeck. Between 1998-2003 he worked at the Department of Cardiology, University of Lübeck, under Prof H Katus, and from 2003 in the Department of Cardiology, AK St Georg, Hamburg, under the direction of Prof Dr KH Kuck. He attended Medical University Lübeck, and studied internal medicine at Yale University, US. Prof Chun has authored and co-authored numerous manuscripts published in leading peer-reviewed journals.

Isabel Deisenhofer is Head of the Department of Electrophysiology at the German Heart Center Munich, Germany. She studied at Ludwig-Maximillians-Universität München and Technischen Universität München; at the latter she later served as Professor of Cardiology for the period 2007-2014. Prof Deisenhofer spent time in Prof Michel Haissaguerre’s research group at Hôpital Cardiologique du Haut-Lévêque, Université de Bordeaux, France before returning to Germany to complete her fellowship in electrophysiology. With specialities including arrhythmias, atrial fibrillation, ventricular arrhythmias and sudden cardiac death, Prof Deisenhofer is widely published as an author or co-author in leading international journals.

Peter Spector is a Professor of Medicine, and Electrical and Biomedical Engineering at the University of Vermont, and also serves as Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology and the Cardiac Electrophysiology Laboratory, University of Vermont Medical Center, US. A clinical electrophysiologist and leading researcher, he focuses on the chaotic abnormal heart rhythm, atrial fibrillation, with particular investigative focus on wave dynamics in atrial fibrillation, and mapping and ablation of AF. He attended medical school at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, US.
